Different minds.
Room to learn.

ADHD, autism, AuDHD and dyslexia belong in the conversation about learning. Explore research, student experiences and practical ways to ask for support in the classroom, on placement and at exam time.

A learning difficulty deserves a useful conversation, not a judgment about effort.

Start with adult ADHD and co-occurring autism and ADHD, often called AuDHD. Then explore attention, sensory environments, disclosure, study support and nursing education. Each selection identifies its source and the people studied, with limitations in “Context & perspective.”

Eight research or news articles sit alongside four practical guides. Older research keeps its original date; guidance is labeled as guidance.

FEATURED TOPIC · APPLICATION HONESTY

Truth matters.
Before the first shift.

Hospital jobs, nursing-school admissions, licensure, and specialty certification each ask for accurate information. Care begins with describing your qualifications honestly.

An unfinished degree is progress worth naming. It is not an earned degree. A pending license is a step forward. It is not an active license.

NCSBN’s 2024 guidance for employers and educators recommends checking educational records, licenses, and references when reviewing applications. A mismatch needs clarification; it is not automatically proof of intentional deception.

The stakes are real. In a June 18, 2026 federal case update, a nursing-school operator pleaded guilty in a diploma-fraud scheme involving false records of coursework and clinical training. That reported plea is different from a charge, and the release does not report a sentence.

Three credentials. Three different meanings.

Degree
Educational achievement awarded by a school.
License
Authorization from a nursing regulatory body to practice.
Specialty certification
Additional qualifications recognized by a certifying organization.

Passing NCLEX is one part of a licensing pathway; it does not replace the board’s other requirements. School admission, licensure, and specialty certification are separate processes.

General educational information, not legal advice or a ruling on an individual application. Requirements and consequences vary by jurisdiction and institution. A typo and an intentional false statement are not automatically the same thing.

PROMOTIONS & SPONSORSHIPS

Clear about who is speaking.

Retailer listings are editorial resources, not NCLEX101 sponsors. There are no paid placements or affiliate links in this directory. If we add sponsored content or a paid promotion, it will be clearly labeled. An event’s own exhibitors or sponsors are not sponsors of NCLEX101.

External events, products, employers, and organizations are independently operated. A listing does not imply endorsement, clinical approval, or a partnership.
